American Midstream starts up Texas NGL, condensate rail facility

American MidstreamPartners LP announced the completion and commencement of operationsat the East Texas Rail Facility, allowing for the transport of NGLs and condensateby rail to the Longview processing plant in Gregg County, Texas.

Adjacent to American Midstream's Longview operations and closeto several crude oil and refined-products terminals, the facility is capable ofthe receipt and delivery of up to 4,500 barrels per day of on-spec and off-specNGLs and can similarly handle rail-to-truck transloading, according to the partnership'sApril 4 news release.

The partnership plans to include additional receipt and deliverycapabilities and sufficient track on the 400-acre site for unit trains in the future,the release said.
