Bank of Ayudhya to redeem debentures

Bank of Ayudhya PCL received approval from the Bank of Thailand to redeem 14.84 billion Thai baht of debentures issued in 2012.

The lender will redeem Nov. 7 the 14,843,600 units of subordinated debentures with a face value of 1,000 baht each, it said in an Oct. 6 release. It is exercising its right to redeem the instruments five years before the end of their 10-year tenor.

As of Oct. 5, US$1 was equivalent to 33.38 Thai baht.
