Latvia-based SEB consolidates Baltic life insurance companies

The State Enterprise Register of Latvia registered the merger of AS SEB banka insurance companies AS SEB Elu- ja Pensionikindlustus, AB SEB gyvybes draudimas and AAS SEB Dzivibas apdrosinasana into a single entity.

The new consolidated company, called SEB Life and Pension Baltic SE, will be based in Riga, Latvia, with branches in Estonia and Lithuania. The consolidation, announced in July 2018, does not affect pension funds of Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian residents, which will be managed by SEB investment companies in the Baltics.

AS SEB banka is a unit of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB.
