Cipher Pharmaceuticals repairs Puerto Rico facilities after Hurricane Maria

Cipher Pharmaceuticals Inc. said its facility in Juncos, Puerto Rico, has been repaired after sustaining some minor damage due to Hurricane Maria.

Meanwhile, Cipher's facility in the Puerto Rican municipality of Humacao sustained damage to the exterior of the production building. The production suites and equipment, however, were unaffected. The facility is undergoing cleanup and repair work and is expected to be operational by mid- to late-November.

Galephar Pharmaceutical Research operates the aforementioned manufacturing facilities. The Juncos facility manufactures Conzip and Durela products, while the Humacao facility manufactures Absorica, Epuris and Lipofen products.

Cipher does not anticipate an interruption in Absorica or Epuris supply. The company also does not expect any material impact across its full product portfolio.
