Olympic Steel Inc. said Dec. 23 that it appointed Andrew Greiff as president, on top of his duties as COO, effective Jan. 1, 2020.

Greiff will succeed David Wolfort, who served as president for 18 years. Wolfort will continue to serve Olympic Steel in a senior advisory capacity as a member of the board of directors.

The appointment of Greiff is part of a planned succession.
