OrganiGram closes C$57.5M bought-deal offering

OrganiGram Holdings Inc. closed its bought-deal offering of 16,428,572 units at a price of C$3.50 per unit for gross proceeds of about C$57.5 million.

The underwriters fully exercised their option to buy up to an additional 15% of the units.

Each unit consisted of 1 common share and half a common share purchase warrant. Each warrant allows the purchase of 1 common share at an exercise price of C$4.00 until June 18, 2019.

OrganiGram intends to use about 80% of the net proceeds to expand its Moncton campus. The remaining proceeds are expected to be used for general working capital purposes and strategic international opportunity development.

The offering was completed by a syndicate of underwriters led by Eight Capital and included Canaccord Genuity Corp., GMP Securities LP, Mackie Research Capital Corp. and PI Financial Corp.
