Financial markets data provider Refinitiv named Leon Saunders Calvert as its first head of sustainable investing and fund ratings.

The new role brings together the company's environmental-, social- and governance-sustainable investing and Lipper Fund ratings businesses. Refinitiv's Lipper database provides insights to asset managers and institutional investors.

Calvert was previously head of research and data teams at Mergermarket Ltd., which provides M&A intelligence to the advisory community.
