Fidelity National Financial changes accounting firm

Fidelity National Financial Inc.'s audit committee Aug. 2 approved the engagement of Ernst & Young LLP as the company's independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31.

The committee also approved the dismissal of the company's prior auditing firm, KPMG LLP.

During the fiscal years ended Dec. 31, 2015, and 2016, as well as for the subsequent interim period through Aug. 2, Fidelity National Financial did not have any disagreements with KPMG. None of KPMG's reports for the periods contained an adverse opinion.
