Terveystalo Oyj agreed to acquire Finland-based healthcare services company Kuntoutumisasema OTE Oy, which provides physiotherapy, massage and group exercise services.

Kuntoutumisasema has nine physiotherapists on its payroll and its revenue for 2017 was about €500,000. Its employees will be transferred to Terveystalo while the operations will continue as before.

This is the fourth acquisition for the Helsinki-based Terveystalo in the area of wellbeing services.

Earlier in December the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority approved the €233 million acquisition of Attendo AB's Finnish healthcare operations by Terveystalo.

Terveystalo offers primary and secondary health care services for corporate and private customers and the public sector.
