Stone-Goff backs life-sciences outsourced-services firm Danforth Advisors

Lower middle-market private equity firm Stone-Goff Partners, which has offices in New York and Boston, made an undisclosed amount of investment in Danforth Advisors LLC.

Somerville, Mass.-headquartered Danforth offers outsourced finance, accounting and strategic services for companies in the life sciences and healthcare space. It plans to use the money to broaden its service offerings, expand its consultant team, add new life-sciences clusters and pursue opportunistic acquisitions of complementary life sciences outsourced-service providers.

Capital Southwest Corp. provided debt financing and equity co-investment.

G2 Capital Advisors was the exclusive financial adviser to Danforth on the deal, with Burns & Levinson LLP serving as its legal counsel. Fredrikson & Byron PA was legal counsel for Stone-Goff.
