Hemisphere Media Group Inc. reached a multiyear agreement with DISH Network Corp. to restore WAPA Televisión, WAPA Deportes and U.S. cable network WAPA América (US) to the satellite provider's service.

The networks went dark Oct. 24. WAPA Televisión and WAPA Deportes were restored Dec. 16, while distribution of WAPA América will resume in January 2020.

DISH also entered into a multiyear renewal agreement to distribute CentroAméricaTV on DishLATINO in the U.S. CentroAméricaTV targets Central Americans living in the U.S.

WAPA Televisión is Puerto Rico's highest-rated broadcast network, while WAPA Deportes is a sports network for the island. WAPA América offers news and entertainment for U.S.-based Puerto Ricans.
