YCC Parts Manufacturing profit beats consensus by 24.4% in Q3

Y.C.C. Parts Manufacturing Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income was NT$1.09 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 88 cents per share.

EPS increased 61.1% year over year from 68 cents.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$81.8 million, an increase of 82.6% from NT$44.8 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 14.9% from 14.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 78.4% year over year to NT$549.7 million from NT$308.1 million, and total operating expenses rose 93.7% from the prior-year period to NT$475.9 million from NT$245.7 million.

Reported net income increased 83.7% on an annual basis to NT$115.1 million, or NT$1.54 per share, from NT$62.7 million, or 95 cents per share.
