New York Life Insurance Co. has appointed Craig DeSanto and Matt Grove co-COOs.

DeSanto assumes oversight of the company's subsidiary, New York Life Investment Management LLC, while still being responsible for the strategic insurance businesses and retail annuities. Grove assumes oversight of the agency distribution system.

Additionally, head of agency Mark Madgett was promoted to executive vice president.
