FERC on March 30 approved an investor group's sale of the deactivated Portsmouth Genco plant in Portsmouth, Va., to .

Georgia Renewable Power, held by Green Fuels Energy LLC and a private individual, also ownsthe out-of-service Elizabethtownand Lumberton plantsin North Carolina. State regulators on May 20, 2015, approved an order allowinga Georgia Renewable Power subsidiary to amend Lumberton's certificate of publicconvenience and necessity to allow the facility to burn biomass wood and poultrylitter.
