Alix Resources Corp. said Oct. 11 that it discovered a new, significant, lithium-rich clay zone located near the Tule concession at its Electra project in Mexico's Sonora state.
The lithium-rich clay mineralization has been traced for about 1 kilometer on a newly applied for property dubbed Agua Fria.
The mineralization is dipping shallowly to the east, with a thickness of 20 to 30 meters.
The new zone and the Agua Fria property will also comprise a portion of Electra, which Alix jointly owns with Lithium Australia NL.
