ComcastCorp. intends to purchase DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. in a deal worth more than$3 billion, according to media reports.

The animation studio would bring franchises like "KungFu Panda" and "How to Train Your Dragon," as well as digitalnetwork AwesomenessTV, to join NBCUniversal Media LLC under Comcast's content business.
