Report: Chevron restarting Gulf of Mexico oil pipeline after outage

The Amberjack Pipeline Co. LLC is restarting an oil pipeline following an outage March 13, according to a March 14 report from Reuters citing Chevron Corp. spokesperson Veronica Flores-Paniagua.

The pipeline carries about 350,000 barrels per day from the U.S. Gulf of Mexico to refiners in Texas and Louisiana.

Chevron also said it is ramping up production at its Jack/St. Malo, Tahiti, Big Foot and Genesis oil facilities.

Amberjack is a joint venture between Shell Midstream Partners LP and Chevron Pipe Line Co.
