Monroe Capital prices $40M registered direct offering of notes

Specialty finance company Monroe Capital Corp. priced a registered direct offering of $40.0 million of its 5.75% notes due Oct. 31, 2023.

Net proceeds from the offering are expected to be about $38.7 million. The company plans to use the net proceeds to repay outstanding debt under its revolving credit facility, invest in portfolio companies and for general corporate purposes.

The offered notes are a further issuance of a $69.0 million offering that closed Sept. 12, 2018.

Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. was placement agent for the offering.
