DTR Automotive Q3 profit climbs 37.4% YOY

DTR Automotive Corp. said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to 1,661.61 South Korean won per share, an increase of 37.4% from 1,208.96 won per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 14.46 billion won, an increase of 37.4% from 10.53 billion won in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 6.4% from 6.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 33.2% on an annual basis to 224.62 billion won from 168.58 billion won, and total operating expenses rose 31.1% on an annual basis to 206.82 billion won from 157.80 billion won.

Reported net income grew 20.3% from the prior-year period to 17.53 billion won, or 2,014.59 won per share, from 14.57 billion won, or 1,673.81 won per share.

As of Nov. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 1,172.80 South Korean won.
