Buffalo, N.Y.-based insurance agency Walsh Duffield Cos. Inc.said May 1 that it acquired the Don Allen Agency Inc., headquartered in Rochester,N.Y.

The acquisition makes the Rochester market one-third of WalshDuffield's book of business, which now includes 28 employees in two locations inthat city.
