UK digital lender OakNorth appoints former BoE regulator to advisory board

OakNorth Bank PLC appointed Martin Stewart to its advisory board, as the bank looks to boost growth after raising $100 million in September, the Financial Times reported.

Stewart previously served as the Bank of England's director of banks, building societies and credit unions.

OakNorth, which lends to small and medium-sized businesses, reported pretax profit of £10.6 million in 2017.
