BankGuam delays 2018 annual shareholder meeting

Citing issues with its former accounting firm, BankGuam Holding Co. delayed its 2018 annual shareholder meeting.

In April, the Hagatna, Guam-based company hired Squar Milner LLP to be its accounting firm after it dismissed Crowe Horwath LLP over disagreements on certain matters. The disagreements also resulted in the delay in the company's filing of its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31.

BankGuam plans to announce the record and meeting dates for the shareholder meeting when Squar Milner nears completion of its audit of the company's 2017 financial statements.
