DaVita board increases share buyback program to $1.5B

DaVita Inc. said its board increased the authorization under the company's share repurchase program to $1.5 billion.

The amount of shares authorized to be repurchased under the new program includes the amount remaining from DaVita's existing buyback program, authorized in July 2016.
