Black Hills closes sale of stake in Black Hills Colorado IPP

Black Hills Electric Generation LLC completed the of a 49.9% memberequity interest in Black HillsColorado IPP LLC to AIA Energy North America LLC for $215 million, accordingto an April 14 statement.

FERC approved the deal on March 29. Proceeds will help theBlack Hills Corp.subsidiary pay down debt and meet general corporate expenses.

Black Hills Colorado IPP owns a 200-MW, combined-cyclefacility inPueblo, Colo., that sells its output to Black Hills Colorado Electric Utility Co. LP. BlackHills will continue to be the major owner and operator of the power plant.

AIA Energy North America is an infrastructure investmentplatform managed by ArgoInfrastructure Partners LLC.
