Entergy Mississippi to acquire 115-kV lines from Miss. co-op

EntergyMississippi Inc. plans to acquire two 115-kV transmission lines andrelated property from SouthMississippi Electric Power Association.

The company, through its Entergy Services Inc. subsidiary, asked FERC to approvethe deal by Dec. 2. The acquisition price is $119,000.

The lines are the Centreville-Woodville line in WilkinsonCounty, Miss., approximately 12.56 miles, and the Franklin-Smithdale line inFranklin County, Miss., approximately 11.94 miles. Entergy Mississippicurrently leases these lines from SMEPA, according to an Oct. 3 application toFERC. (EC17-1)
