North Carolina-based Providence Bank increases dividend

The board of Rocky Mount, N.C.-based Providence Bank approved a quarterly cash dividend of 9.75 cents per common share.

The latest dividend — which is an increase from the previous dividend of 9.5 cents — is payable on Jan. 30, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Jan. 13.
