Andrey Chulak was appointed head of corporate and investment banking at Russia-based JSC Alfa-Bank effective as of November, its parent ABH Financial Ltd. said Oct. 4.

He will be responsible for the development of investment business and will oversee Alfa's relations with large corporations. Prior to joining the lender, Chulak led Deutsche Bank AG's corporate and investment banking business in Russia and CIS countries.

ABH Financial said Oct. 3 that Alfa Bank CEO Vladimir Verkhoshinsky joined the lender's management board as member and first deputy chairman.
