Energy Transfer Partners names new director

Energy Transfer Partners LP on Feb. 6 appointed Ray Davis to its board of directors and audit committee, effective immediately. His appointment allows the partnership to be in compliance with the New York Stock Exchange listing standard.

The NYSE listed company manual dictates that audit committees must have a minimum of three members. The partnership, on Jan. 31, sent the NYSE a notification of noncompliance since the death of a director and audit committee member of Energy Transfer Partners LCC on Jan. 28 brought the committee members down to two.

Energy Transfer Partners LLC is the general partner of Energy Transfer Partners GP LP, which is the general partner of the partnership.

Energy Transfer Partners LP is a master limited partnership that owns and operates a geographically diverse portfolio of complementary natural gas midstream, intrastate and interstate transportation and storage assets; crude oil, natural gas liquids and refined product transportation and terminalling assets; NGL fractionation assets; and various acquisition and marketing assets.
