Silver BayRealty Trust Corp.'s CFO left the company, in a realignment thatshifted finance functions to the chief accounting officer and executive vicepresident of finance.

CFO Christine Battist departed, effective immediately, in amove that was not the result of any dispute or disagreement with Silver Bay,the company said in a news release.

Silver Bay said Chief Accounting Officer Julie Ellis will beresponsible for accounting, tax and financial policy matters, and ExecutiveVice President of Finance Griffin Wetmore will be responsible for capitalstrategy and execution, as well as the company's treasury and investorrelations functions.
