Kentucky insurer to withdraw from ACA individual exchange

Baptist HealthPlan Inc. will withdraw from the individual healthcare federalexchange marketplace for 2017.

The decision means about 7,000 state residents will have tofind a new carrier for the plan year.

Baptist Health cited the Affordable Care Act's riskassessments as an unsustainable burden for the company.

The insurer's exchange enrollees can keep their coveragethrough Dec. 31 on the exchange and through March 31, 2017, off the exchange.
