Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe completes acquisition of Intuit's QuickBase biz

Welsh CarsonAnderson & Stowe on April 1 announced that it has completed thetransaction with IntuitInc. toacquire the QuickBase business, which provides a low-codeapplication development platform.

QuickBase CEO Allison Mnookin will continue to lead theorganization, now called QuickBase Inc. Mnookin's team of senior leaders includeKaren Devine, vice president of marketing; Jeff Prus, vice president of productmanagement; Frank Tino, vice president of product development; and StevePercoco, vice president of sales and customer care.

The transaction has satisfied all regulatory requirementsand customary closing conditions, including clearance by competitionauthorities in the U.S.

Under the new ownership, QuickBase will increase investmentin product development and grow headcount in its Cambridge, Mass., headquartersby 20%.
