QUALCOMM grosses $1.50 billion from debt offering

Qualcomm Inc. raised gross proceeds of $1.50 billion from an offering of 2.9% senior unsecured notes due May 20, 2024.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital, investment in securities, redemption or repayment of debt securities, and acquisitions or investments.

Barclays Capital Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc. were the lead underwriters.

Academy Securities Inc., BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Lebenthal & Co. LLC, Lloyds Securities Inc., Loop Capital Markets LLC, Mizuho Securities USA LLC, MUFG Securities Americas Inc., SMBC Nikko Securities America Inc., U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC also served as underwriters for the offering.
