KWG Property issues US$247M senior notes due 2022

KWG Property Holding Ltd. issued approximately US$247.0 million worth of 6.00% senior notes due Jan. 11, 2022.

The notes will be offered at a price reflecting 100% of the principle amount. The offering will be made available outside the U.S in offshore transactions to non-U.S. persons in compliance with the Securities Act, with none of the notes to be offered to the Hong Kong public.

The interest of the bonds will be payable semi-annually on Jan. 11 and July 11 of each year, with payment starting on July 11, 2017.

KWG will list the senior notes on the Hong Kong stock exchange.

The company intends to use the net proceeds from the issuance to refinance offshore debt and for other corporate purposes, according to a release. The company may adjust its plans in response to changing market conditions.

Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC serves as the sole book runner and sole lead manager for issuance. The investment bank is also the initial buyer of the notes.
