Natra SA posts Q4 profit

Natra S.A. said its normalized net income for the fourth quarter was €9.7 million.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin was 9.2%.

Total revenue totaled €105.5 million, and total operating expenses totaled €101.9 million.

Reported net income totaled €11.9 million, or 25 cents per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 14 cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of a loss of 10 cents.

EPS was a loss of 21 cents in the prior year.

Normalized net income was €6.5 million, compared with a loss of €9.8 million in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue totaled €368.7 million, compared with €368.9 million in the prior year, and total operating expenses fell on an annual basis to €358.8 million from €371.0 million.

The company said reported net income came to €4.5 million, or 9 cents per share, in the full year, compared with a loss of €54.4 million, or a loss of €1.15 per share, the prior year.
