Mitsui Fudosan Co. Ltd. is carrying out construction work at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Otemachi located at Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management Co. Ltd. and Chuo Tochi Co. Ltd. have partnered for the development of the hotel, which will be the seventh Mitsui Garden Hotel to open in Tokyo. The approximately 190-room, 14-story hotel is being built on land owned by Chuo Tochi, according to a news release.
Mitsui Fudosan Group will lease and operate the approximately 6,235-square-meter hotel, which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2018.
The Mitsui Garden Hotel chain operates 20 hotels across Japan with a total of 5,337 rooms. The last hotel under the brand to open in the capital city was the 233-room Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyobashi, which was launched in September this year.
