Nets A/S has completed its €73 million acquisition of Polish online payment service providers Dotpay/eCard after obtaining all relevant regulatory approvals.

The acquisition allows Denmark-based Nets to expand into Poland and extend its presence in Europe.

Andrzej Budzik will continue as CEO of the Polish companies, which will retain the Dotpay and eCard brands, Nets said Jan. 4.

Dotpay and eCard employ roughly 80 people and posted gross revenues of more than €12 million in 2017.
