Pennsylvania-based First Commonwealth Bank chief credit officer to retire

I. Robert Emmerich, the executive vice president and chief creditofficer at Indiana, Pa.-based FirstCommonwealth Bank, is retiring at the end of 2016.

Emmerich was appointedto his position in 2009 and has nearly 40 years of experience in the banking industry.

The company expects to search for a successor while taking bothinternal and external candidates into consideration, according to an April 11 newsrelease.

First Commonwealth Bank is a unit of First Commonwealth Financial Corp.
