Hong Kong hotel gets HK$4.8B offer from unnamed buyer

An unnamed buyer is believed to be offering HK$4.8 billion to purchase the 546-room Kimberley Hotel in Hong Kong's Tsim Sha Tsui district, Mingtiandi reported, citing the Hong Kong Economic Times.

The offered amount is lower compared with the HK$6 billion that asset custodians are asking for the 243,301-square-meter property with 21 stories, which forms part of the estate of the late businessman Stephen Lau Hei-wing, according to the Oct. 3 report.
