Solar Alliance to build 3.84-MW solar facility in Illinois

Solar Alliance Energy Inc. signed an agreement with NuYen Blockchain Inc. to design and manage construction of a 3.84-MW solar facility in Murphysboro, Ill.

Solar Alliance said the latest agreement comes as it is set to bring online a 2.4-MW solar facility for an undisclosed "Fortune Global 500" company in the U.S. and plans to build up to three additional large-scale solar projects in 2019, according to a March 18 release.

"NuYen plans on continuing its solar expansion over its future data [center] and blockchain developments and to do its very best to [minimize] and manage its fossil fuel usage moving forward," NuYen President Greg Costello said.
