Renauxview Q4 loss widens YOY

Renauxview SA said its normalized net income for the fourth quarter was a loss of 17.31 reais per share, compared with a loss of 1.81 reais per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 73.7 million reais, compared with a loss of 7.7 million reais in the prior-year period.

Total revenue declined 15.4% on an annual basis to 18.3 million reais from 21.6 million reais, and total operating expenses fell 11.6% from the prior-year period to 23.8 million reais from 27.0 million reais.

Reported net income came to a loss of 120.5 million reais, or a loss of 28.30 reais per share, compared to a loss of 51.1 million reais, or a loss of 11.99 reais per share, in the prior-year period.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled a loss of 21.83 reais per share, compared with a loss of 6.28 reais per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was a loss of 93.0 million reais, compared with a loss of 26.8 million reais in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue declined 13.3% from the prior-year period to 76.3 million reais from 88.0 million reais, and total operating expenses decreased year over year to 89.4 million reais from 92.9 million reais.

The company said reported net income came to a loss of 149.0 million reais, or a loss of 34.99 reais per share, in the full year, compared with a loss of 33.7 million reais, or a loss of 7.91 reais per share, the prior year.

As of March 29, US$1 was equivalent to 3.67 reais.
