Anrakutei Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was ¥15.78 per share, a decrease of 58.1% from ¥37.63 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥33.8 million, a decline of 58.8% from ¥81.9 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 0.8% from 1.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to ¥4.15 billion from ¥4.22 billion, and total operating expenses came to ¥4.09 billion, compared with ¥4.08 billion in the year-earlier period.
Reported net income decreased 66.8% on an annual basis to ¥23.0 million, or ¥10.75 per share, from ¥69.2 million, or ¥31.80 per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
