Torex to resume work at El Limon-Guajes gold mine on April 14

Torex GoldResources Inc. said April 12 that it plans to restart operations atits ElLimon-Guajes gold project in Mexico on the night shift of April 14.

The company suspended operations at the mine last week due to anillegal blockade, which was initiated by three families demanding payments fromthe company for alleged environmental damages.

Torex said that it completed a number of maintenance, finetuning and commissioning activities during the temporary stoppage.

Resettlement activities at the new village of Real del Limonwere also completed, according to the release.
