MCI.EuroVentures sells stake in Netrisk to TA Associates for €55M

MCI.EuroVentures sold a portion of its stake in Hungary-based independent online brokerage Netrisk.hu to private equity firm TA Associates Management LP for €55 million.

TA Associates will own 75% of the brokerage's shares, while Netrisk's management will hold a 1.3% interest.

MCI.EuroVentures, a buyout fund of MCI Group, will retain a 23.7% stake in Netrisk. As a result of the transaction, the fund has realized a return on investment of 3.0x change of control and a 73% internal rate of return.

Meanwhile, minority shareholder AMC Capital IV S.C. Sp. sold its entire interest in Netrisk. Mezzanine Management advised AMC Capital.
