LienViet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank, or LienVietPostBank, named Nguyen Duc Huong as its new chairman, replacing Duong Cong Minh, who stepped down.

Nguyen Duc Huong was also appointed as an additional director on the bank's board, according to a document recently obtained by S&P Global Market Intelligence.

He was previously the bank's vice chairman but relinquished the role in April in preparation for a director role at Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank, or Sacombank, Viet Nam News reported June 6. Nguyen Duc Huong, however, withdrew as a director candidate at Sacombank.

Meanwhile, Pham Doan Son was named as vice chairman cum CEO at LienVietPostBank.
