U.K.-based betting and gaming company GVC Holdings PLC named Rob Wood deputy CFO, effective immediately.

Wood will succeed Paul Bowtell as CFO following his decision to step down from the board on March 5, 2019, according to an Oct. 18 news release.

Bowtell is leaving to take up a position with private equity firm Alchemy Partners LLP.

Wood is the CFO of GVC's largest division, Ladbrokes Coral U.K.
