Report: Kazkommertsbank CEO to step down if elected as chairman of local lobby group

The CEO of JSCKazkommertsbank, Magzhan Auezov, will step down if chosen to leadan industry lobby group in Kazakhstan, Reuters reported March 31, citing thebank.

Auezov was nominated by the Financial Institution'sAssociation of Kazakhstan for chairmanship, with voting to take place on April11. If Auezov leaves, Managing Director Adil Batyrbekov would become interimCEO, according to the news source.
