Central Bank of India to repurchase 5B rupees of perpetual bonds

Central Bank of India plans to repurchase 5 billion rupees of perpetual bonds.

The bank said Jan. 23 that its board approved the premature buyback of the 9.40% perpetual bonds the same day.

As of Jan. 23, US$1 was equivalent to 68.14 Indian rupees.
