Equity One Inc.said Joseph Azrack has been nominated as a director and member of the board's nominatingand corporate governance committee.

Together with eight incumbent directors, Azrack will stand forelection to the company's board at the 2016 annual stockholder meeting slated forMay 13. They will hold office until the 2017 annual stockholder meeting, if elected.

Azrack was nominated to replace Intu Properties Plc CEO David Fischel, who from Equity One's board in January,according to an April 1 filing. The nominee is the founder and principal of hisnamesake real estate investment and advisory firm, Azrack & Co.
