Game studios, including Insomniac Games and Polytron, havedistanced themselves from Palmer Luckey, the founder of -owned Oculus virtualreality company, over his link with a group notorious for its negativedepiction of Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential candidate, IGNreported Sept. 23.
While Insomniac condemned all form of hate speech andcriticized Luckey, studios such as Polytron said their games will no longersupport Oculus Rift.
In a Sept. 23 poston Facebook, Luckey apologized for "negatively impacting the perception ofOculus and its partners," and claimed reports about him do not accurately representhis views.
Luckey acknowledged that he donated $10,000 to NimbleAmerica, an organization that supports Donald Trump, the Republicanpresidential candidate, but said he did not write the "NimbleRichMan"posts, nor did he delete the account.
