Santander fintech venture capital fund secures $100M funding

London-based financial technologyventure capital fund Santander InnoVentures secured a further $100 million infunding from parent BancoSantander SA's balance sheet.

The additional funding gives SantanderInnoVentures a total of $200 million to deploy in minority stakes in fintechstartups. Since its inception in 2014, the fund has invested in fintechstartups across the globe such as Ripple, Kabbage and Elliptic.
